Mrs. Rego Rodriguez is a Corporate Governance Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Finance Corporation from the World Bank Group, based in Washington D.C. At the IFC first she worked stablishing the strategy of the LAC region as a Deputy Manager and now as an officer she works in the underline strategies across the region based on four pillar: strategy of the regional Institutes of Directors, strategy of the Corporate Governance Dispute Resolution program for the region, Strategy for the Educational Institutions of the region and, strategic training for the region. Currently she serves at IFC as Executive Director of the two most important programs of the region: Companies Circle and the Network of Institutes of Latin America. She also continues working closely with corporations, financial institutions, institutional investors, governments and other key corporate governance stakeholders across the world. Prior to that, she managed the Latin American program for the Global Corporate Governance Forum from the IFC. Before entering this development institution, Mrs. Rego Rodriguez developed a wide experience in the private sector working at Siemens AG in a regional position, working directly with C-level executives and key stakeholder of the business and local communities. She graduated with honors from her university as a Journalist and Social Communications, also had an outstanding performance during her Master's degree in Communications and Business Management and afterward in her training in Strategic Marketing Management at the Columbia Business School and Family Business Governance from Wharton School of Business.
